All Clubs Conference

The District Conference, or as we are calling it this year the “All Clubs Conference”, will be held April 27 – 28, 2018, in lovely New Bern.

The theme of this year’s conference is “It’s a Small World”, with an international list of speakers, including:

  • PDG Doug Vincent, from Canada, who is Rotary International’s representative to the United Nations
  • PDG Aziz Memon, from Pakistan, will tell us about the efforts to eradicate Polio in his country in the face of the Taliban threat
  • Mark Balla, from Australia, who is recognized internationally, as the strongest advocate for bringing Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) to schools in India.
  • Peace Fellow Daniela Schemerhorn, from Brazil, who will tell us how the Rotary Peace Center measures peace and whether we are making any advances
  • And Much, Much more

For more details and to register, go to http://www.rotary7710conference.org/. The cost of registration until March 15, 2018, is only $150.

At the District Assembly, we will randomly select from those registered for the conference to win a Chick-fil-A promotional card for a Chicken Sandwich Meal or Nuggets Meal. Thank you to Keith Dimsdale, Central Johnston Club for donating these prizes. Look for prizes every month from those registered for the conference.
