District Conference Returns to Asheville

There are many fun things to do in Asheville, which boasts a thriving arts community, diverse outdoor adventures, a vibrant and inviting downtown, numerous historic and architectural attractions and unique shopping options, not to mention the District 7710 Conference. So plan to join your friends for a fabulous weekend in Asheville this Spring.

Governor Leigh invites all Rotarians and their families to our district conference in Asheville. “Not only will we learn some Rotary, but we will meet in one of the most-visited spots in our state and enjoy friendship and camaraderie.”, says Leigh. Already confirmed: Friday night Dine-around Asheville: pre-reserved group dining at eight of Asheville’s most popular restaurants; free child care for Saturday night; Miss North Carolina 2012, presenting “The Domino Effect: Inspiring Volunteerism One Person at a Time”; roundtable discussions on pressing Rotary issues; a food drive in partnership with a local food bank; and much more. The committee has even put together a comprehensive list of activities to consider for your free time Saturday afternoon. This and all the other features of this year’s District Conference can be found on ┬áthe conference website. Explore it, bookmark it and check back often because it’ll be updated regularly as additional program items are added.
