2014 Latrine & Sanitation/Hygiene Project

Do you want to be a part of something bigger than yourself? Do you want to represent not just your club, or your district, but Rotary in ways that make a difference?

The Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Santiago Monumental (District 4060) and the Rotary District 7710 will join forces again to reduce gastrointestinal diseases caused by current sanitary conditions.

Join District Governor Leigh Hudson as he and up to 38 other Rotarians journey to Santiago, Dominican Republic to construct 65 latrines, provide 65 Water Sanitation filter systems, provide 65 Hand Washing Stations, educate & showcase proper hand and food washing plus basic sanitation skills, and provide local community families with needed supplies (mosquito nets, linens, soap, books and toys).

Below is a link to more information on this project. Please contact DG Leigh Hudson to become a part of the team.
