Awardee Tim Allen:

Tim is a most worthy recipient of The Rotarian Spouse/ Partner Service Award. For over 20 years Tim has used his creative skills to design District Conference booklets, Duke/UNC Peace Fellow materials, and District Governor Installation programs. In fact, he designed the program for District Governor Shafi Parekh’s Installation Banquet this year. He has helped with more Rotary events than anyone can count while never seeking the limelight. District 7710 has greatly benefitted from his volunteer efforts.

Tim supported Past District Governor Carol Allen, his wife, leading up to and during her 2000-01 District Governor year and throughout her many years as a member of the Cary MacGregor Rotary Club. He has volunteered his many talents and time assisting Carol at the Duke/UNC Peace Center since its inception in 2001.

When Tim is not volunteering for Rotary, he enjoys mentoring young entrepreneurs and playing golf.
